2. Survey License Application: Date: 31st Janauary 2017
After its official registration with the Company Registration Office, Union Mewa Hydro Limited took the crucial step of applying for a Survey License for the Mewa Khola Hydropower Project from the Department of Electricity Development (DoED).
3. Power Purchase Agreement (PPA): Date: 18th Janauary 2019
Following the approval of the survey license, Union Mewa Hydro Ltd. completed the project detailed feasibility study and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), ensuring a long-term arrangement for the sale of electricity generated by the project.
4. Industry Certificate: Date: 16th March 2020
The company was granted an Industry Certificate, a key milestone that officially recognized Union Mewa Hydro Ltd. as an operating entity eligible to engage in the hydropower generation sector.
5. Generation License: Date: 15th January 2021
