The Mewa Khola Hydropower Project is a run-of-river hydropower project located in the picturesque region of Koshi Province Taplejung district Mikwakhola Rural Municipality with a total installed capacity of 23 MW, the project is designed to provide clean, renewable energy to the national grid, reducing the dependency on fossil fuels and contributing to the country’s energy security.
